An outdoor space is an extension of a home. Being able to enjoy your outdoor space, now more than ever, is important. It’s great to enjoy more outdoor time in the privacy of their own home!
Property Brother’s newest series was so heartwarming to watch. In its second season, Celebrity IOU’s Jonathon and Drew Scott teamed up with Hollywood A-listers to surprise someone that has had a great impact on that A-lister’s life. Past surprise renovations have included indoor or outdoor renovations.
That’s where Smart Turf comes in. Season 2, Episode 3 of HGTV’s Celebrity IOU features Justin Hartley getting his hands dirty. He’s excavating his buddy’s backyard as a thank you for getting him through some tough times. This backyard renovation transformed from an unused space to a functional outdoor space the whole family can enjoy. The entertaining space included an outdoor grill and pizza oven. Adjacent to that was a bar area where friends and family can enjoy each other’s company.
On the side yard, a beautiful firepit was added for evening activities plus a Smart Turf putting green was installed right next to it for fun for the entire family. A private putting area can be so entertaining. It allows for friendly competition and unlimited practice for perfecting the game. Everyone in the family can enjoy it, from old to young. No previous skills are required.
We were happy to be a part of that backyard transformation. Working with Jonathan Scott, Drew Scott, and Justin Hartley on this episode was quite fun and the big reveal was exciting.
